Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Back at it today. I walked into lab because the weather was just perfect. Sunshine, fresh air perfect temp. Lots of people were getting outside too. I got pretty burnt mid afternoon and came back, chilled for a little then went out in early evening. Sun stays up late and it cools down so evening runs are actually preferred. The timing reminded me of those late summer runs in Cleveland, head out just as sun was going down to escape the oppressive heat we had that summer. I guess I was thinking about it because I was reading through old logs as I update my archive. Anyways things could still be tender and I don't want to push it obviously, so I did the same thing as yesterday ran down to the track did a mile and came back. Felt fine really, like I feel walking so twinge to speak of. Good sign but really need to take it smart. I noticed my pace pick up naturally, the itch to open up and run. Felt great just to absorb the sunlight. Stopped off and did Ibis 20 again in the grass before heading back.
Essentials: Stretch
Ok stretch when I got back, my abs are most sore now. Need to keep rolling and icing throughout to keep things progressing. Nice weather again tomorrow, might opt for a bike then another evening run to shake things out.
