Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Got out a little bit later today. Ran down around in West Pt Grey just hitting the streets, fitting in the mileage. Made it over to Blanca on 6th and then came back through the trails, just wandering down until I hit Imperial. Starting out, calf was very tight but I worked into it and felt a bit more comfortable, especially enough to go at least 30 mins. It wasn't really raining out, kinda a warm drizzle. That didnt stop anyone else from coming out, lots of hikers on the trails. I think I finished up strong especially on the hills. Felt invigorating.
Essentials: Stretch, roll
Got in my stretch and roll when I got back. Upper calf still pretty tight. I don't really know any good stretches other than pushing up on a wall. Most of the stuff I know is for achilles and ankles, which would probably still help strengthen the area. Im still convinced that if its not strained, running and walking will help equilibrate everything. I just want to feel like my legs are under me going forward.
