Comments:
Was somewhat productive today but could have been more focus for sure. This week was straight grinding I guess. Got out for a decent run. It was overcast, starting to get cool I think it will rain next few days. Started out fast and legs felt pretty good, but I did lots of pavement and calves were sore by the end. Nots strained just sore and tight. Ran down Discovery and Trimble then came back Balaclava and 16th. Coming back up the hill was tough but I stuck to it. Pace felt pretty good to me especially since its been several days.
Essentials: Stretch, roll
Need to roll a lot more. I think switching out my kicks helps with my calves but looking forward to new shoes anyways that should help with support. Felt good after walking in yesterday even. I also welcome the cooler air I realized. The sun was real toasty this week and I don't think I am ready for oppressively hot runs just yet.
