Woke up tired and trashy but definitely more "with it" since I was free of benadryl. Hit the trails at 0615. Trashiness was still there, but improved over last night and good, considering it was an early AM run.

Got back and reluctantly lifted, but afterwards I felt quite energized. Very, very slight knee pain doing some of my lifts; keeping my eye on that.

This afternoon I am going to bike an hour, just to give the legs a rest. I've got some big plans this weekend: it's been one of my goals to run around Waldo Lake (http://www.fs.fed.us/r6/willamette/recreation/tripplanning/trails/northwaldo/waldolake3590.html) this summer and -- against ALL better judgment -- I'm gonna give it a go on Sunday morning. Gonna wake up super-early, drive up 58 and be on the trail by 0730 and hopefully home around 1300. So I'm gonna "rest up" these next few days in prep for that.

Also, tonight is the 2nd to last All-Comer's meet. Not sure if I'll even run a single race. Bummer. Last night after the kiddy meet they had a K and 15 race for Symmonds and Wheating, respectively. Story here: http://registerguard.com/rg/Sports/index.csp
