Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
A true night run. I was putzin around Kits this morning then biked into lab the afternoon to spray with Nirmal. We believed that we earned some chill time so we stopped off for a few at Loafe. Maybe more than a few, I had to then bike home and recoup before running. Headed out around 9ish but the sun was still around. I knew I had to fit it in, how important it was physically and mentally. Ran down to the park and was feeling good, so I stopped off for some speed work on the dirt track. I was the only one doing loops and somehow, I got way way into it. Did 1 on hard with 1 min recovery, always starting at the 400 start so it equated out to like 300-350 with 50 m recovery. Went 4 then felt like I could go a little more for 6 total. I think I went further on each interval and I just felt good. Maybe its the Olympics coming up and me watching trials, but form was solid, footwork felt right, and pace was pushable. And at twilight, cant ask for much more. Took it easy back home before it got too dark.
Essentials: Stretch
Good stretch when I returned, although legs may feel much more burnt out later. Shake it out with a long run, but need to stay soft shouldn't overdo it, especially with my fitness rising. I biked like 15 miles today as well so log that shit up.
