Comments:
What ever the temperature was this morning, that's what I want everyday. It was perfect long run weather, cool clean breeze, slight overcast no smoke. And down by the water, just real comfortable. Started out 16th and Trafalgar and caught the path around Kits beach and took it all the way around to Fir and back on the greenway and 13th st. Started out with a good pace, but legs steadily picked up the weight and started to feel heavy, especially up the hills at the end. Just adjusting to the length with my endurance I think. I could manage but it was some struggle near the end. Eitherway it felt great to get back to my long run and get out of the neighborhood a little bit.
Essentials: Stretch, roll
Rehydrated when I got back and took my time stretching and rolling. Nothing stiff, just kinda sore from the pavement I guess. Back and core also sore, which is good those sections need lots of work.
