Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Getting dumped on today. I slept in a lot and wasn't very active. Its so weird when you wake up late and then sunset is at like 4ish. There is no real "daytime". It was already getting dark when I headed out. Started down towards the beach. Not a lot of folks out. It was eerie down there. Could see the lights from the tanker boats out in the bay but couldn't see across to West Vancouver or even any of downtown. Kept going to Trafalgar then came back up 16th. I tried to run a quick pace, but its so much harder in the dark because you cant see the steps and there were puddles all over. Still felt like pace was good. I was drenched the whole time so that didnt really matter. Right Achilles was a little sore today. Finished up real strong and quick after Dunbar.
Essentials: Stretch
Stretched it out, felt good to be back inside and dry off. Its just crazy to me that it will rain constantly for several days after not raining at all for like 3 straight months this summer. These extremes are unsettling to my routine. Good thing I don't mind running in extreme environments. In fact, I enjoy it because that seems to always be the default.
