Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Sunny again today and I took advantage of it. Got out early side, it was just starting to warm up and it smelled good, that mid 40s feel is great especially with the warmth of the sun to add on. Ran down 20th to Arbutus then out King Edward. Was feeling the rhythm well and legs were adjusting from yesterday. Ran down the hill at Oak and decided to continue on around Vanier and Kits Beach before coming back on Trafalgar. Lots and lots of people out, Barge Chilling was looking good too in the clear sunshine. I had to do a lot of maneuvering but that probably kept the pace up. Tough going once I got back to 16th, could feel it in the legs for sure and I pushed it up the hill. Didnt really know how far I was going today but knew it was long. Tried to kick it in on Crown and that was actually pretty smooth. Just feel so refreshed afterwards but legs definitely took a good beating today.
Essentials: Stretch, roll
Took my time recovering. Needed to rehydrate a lot as well, didnt drink or eat much this weekend actually just chilling around but I needed it today. Get the miles where you can, that's most important. Grateful for opportunity to fit it in like this too as the weather is improving.
