Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
I think I caught up on my sleep today. Went for a shake out in the woods around noon. Legs are heavy, and hammies kinda tight like last week. Ooof not good timing for the race. I took it easy and tried to feel fresh but it was tough. Ran all the way down to St George because the path off King Edwards is under construction. Then did a little loop around Council, Hemlock, and Sasamat. Came back on 16th followed by 2 laps of straight aways on the track. I wanted to shake out as much as possible. Sun was out and there was a breeze coming across that really kept it a lot cooler than it looked. Very comfortable though. The sun makes a big difference
Essentials: Stretch, roll
Stretched outside then came into roll. Rolling helps but hammies still tight. Need to keep an eye on that and how much I bump up the mileage. Looking forward to racing again actually. Its been a very, very long time and I forgot what its like. I bet it comes back like a second nature, just want to be smart and execute and efficient race.
