Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
3 weeks off it about what I can handle. Can tell lately I need to run, somethings just feel off. I didnt know what to expect. Foot doesn't hurt walking around but running is another motion. I went out to get Covid test and got soaked on the way home, so I wasn't too excited to get back outside, but the rain was coming on and off. I know starting back up to take it easy and smart so I just jogged down to QEE and ran on the track. It was comfortable out but I felt chunky and rust all together. Just ran down, did a mile then came back. Had brace on and I guess that helped cause I didnt feel soreness in foot at all. Running was awkward though and I didnt get into a great groove. Also still digesting lunch I guess cause stomach felt full. But this is first steps back to training, which is necessary.
Essentials: Stretch
Got back and stretched for first time in a while. Dont feel too sore, but also I didnt exert much today. Foot is fine as well but keep an eye on it as I do more walking and running. Its reasonable that my trainers are too loose for racing with all that extra cushion.
