Comments:
we took the bus to cornel after school was over. i ate 3 muffins about an hour before i raced. then i warmed up as soon as we got there because i was in the 3200 which was the first race (after the girls). there was some confusion because i was told there were three heats and i was supposed to be in the third, but there were only two heats after all. the race started (second heat.) i got out in third but reminded myself to start slow, so i placed myself second to last for the first few laps. i was very consistant with my time splits, about 40-42 seconds eachsplit. the last 4 laps were hard because my stomach felt really bad (not like a stomach ache because offood though.) i pushed through and had a pr of 10:45.3. after that, i did a short cooldown and waited for my 4*8. i did a little bit of a warmup for my 4*8 but not great and i didnt stretch. we won the 4*8, but even though i got a pr of 2:17, i felt like i did not push hard enough. soon after that i had the 4*4. i pushed as hard as i possibly could, so i was happy with it, even though my time was not great (1:03) girls came in 3rd overall and guys came in fourth. then i went home on the bus.
