Didnt want to stay too late today because I knew I needed some mileage. Just couldn't get out and run this morning so I went in early. It was another grinder, but quiet day not a lot of other people seemed to be working... I got home and got out, ran down to 33rd to get on the trails then ran on Hemlock and came back out Sasamat and 16th. I was really getting in to the pace, actually felt pretty good and was thinking of finishing up at the track, but along 16th a bee flew right into my face and stung me right on the lip. Hurt like a muthafucker and I had to pull the stinger out right there. Glad I didnt eat it that would have been catastrophic. Lip started to swell immediately and I had to carefully make my way home. Whole upper lip got huge and swollen so had to ice immediately. Haven't been stung in a while but I know its not good.

Essentials: Stretch

Did an abysmal stretch because I was soaked in sweat and needed to go out and get some Benadryl quickly. Biked down to Shoppers and back right after. Bummer man, that shit hurt but I handled it because thats what you got to do.
