Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
I caught up on sleep and woke up to some fog before the sun broke out. Went down to Lunken Airport to run today, just to change scene and get out of Hyde Park. Its been a long long time since I ran down there, many years my guess. Didnt really remember the specifics of the loop. Ran out and back to the golf course first then out and back along the edge of the hangars. I tried to make it even and luckily hit 5 miles exactly with my route. Pace built up because its so flat and I felt in the zone so I tried to hold it throughout. It was good hard work, not what I felt mid week. Its easy to go fast down there and do workouts. Bad part is its concrete most of the way and you can definitely feel it. When I got back to lot, ran a few back and forth striders. Those were tough actually, didnt feel like I was able to open up significantly.

Essentials: Stretch, roll

Stretched down at the airport on the field. Not too tight but do need to keep an eye on that hard terrain. When I got back home took the time to roll out. That should help. Good effort today and it was nice and sunny, just felt ready to run.
