Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
It was cloudy dreary and I just have writing and organization to do. Ideas are flowing and I like the outlook but by end of day it was a struggle. I came back and remembered that today is run club from Esoteric and some of the crew was going to be there. I figured I didnt want to drive back over, so I hopped on the bike and raced down to Walnut Hills. Made it just in time before they headed out. Its a smaller group and we separated out but I stuck with Anders Austin and Christina since we are similar pace. Ran down to Riverfront and Friendship Park over along the edge of downtown, past Hard Rock then up Gilbert and through Eden Park back into Walnut Hills. Its a good hill route and was much easier to run with people. Pace was slowish and I managed well. Felt great to get my legs moving like that.
Essentials: Stretch
Mild stretch before we went into Esoteric for some rehydration shots. I hung around a little bit but got back on the bike before it got too dark. I think Wed run club works really well in summer when its nice out and sunny. The bike isn't too bad either I had a good pump by the time I got there then its downhill home when you go Wasson. I was absolutely pooped when I got back though. It was late and I was hungry. Solid split decision and thats what I needed to balance out today.
