Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Slept in again today and it shaped up to be real nice out. Ran mid morning out Wasson, stopped for a pee break, then went up into the main trail and out of the park on Observatory. Ran back down to Wasson and felt like since I was out there putting it in and I won't run much next week (although would love to get a proper romp in at my old stomping grounds) I kept going to Withrow. Legs were heavy and it was a struggle on the sidewalks today, so I stopped off and tried to do 4 striders just to shake off whatever rust was lingering. They actually felt ok and it gave me a chance to catch a little breath. Shirt was soaked at that point. Ran it back easy on Wasson and felt a little better but I was tired upon returning.
Essentials: Stretch
Stretch and cool down, the fan helps a lot. It wasn't as humid as it was yesterday but its definitely a different ball game out there. This summer could be toasty got to adjust for that.
