Down Chesapeake all the way till it ran into Brandywine and then I turned onto BBR, then Nevada to Western to Wisconsin to Willard to Willard Ave Park to River and back home on some random AU park streets and alleyways. Strength before, stretch after.

New Hokas felt incredible! Excited to train w them over the summer.

This marks the end of my spring season training. Got up to 53 miles for the week, which I’m pretty content with considering I wasn’t able to run more than 2 miles at a time 3 months ago. No real workouts, but was doing striders pretty consistently until a few weeks ago.

For the next 2 weeks, I’ll take it pretty light (3-4 miles every other day), then build 10-15% each week through the summer. Will keep an eye on knees and calves/Achilles, but if I’m mindful of mileage and other variables I should be fine. Will hopefully be in the 40’s/50’s by the end of the summer.
