Rolled out early and hung out at breakfast for a while cause I did want to get too LaGuardia on timely schedule. That meant I was pretty tired. Had a fun time at PRP but can't deny it was a short visit but that means a lot. Felt like I have been gone for a long time now and my postdoc stint was distant memory. Got to LGA in great time thanks to carpool lane. I had time to spend there now and its really nice! A billion dollars pays off I guess and boy did it need it. I dosed on and off on flight back and was excessively tired when I got home. Had to regroup and run errands for the week but still feeling tired from the schlep I guess. Ate lunch around 3, then tried to get out and shake out run. Ran down Wasson to the track, did a few loops of straight aways, then did 2x800 to pace out 6 min pace. I was a bit fast on both (like 2:55) so I know I can ease into the pace now if thats actually what I want to hit. Cramped up a bit on that section though because of lunch and weird timings. Ugh. Waddled back on Madison.

Essentials: Stretch, roll

This was a fine shake out after some travel days. Feeling alright and it was good to run but meals and stomach thrown out of sync. And I got to wake up early again one more day. If one thing is for sure I should get used to short trips like this could be big part of the job at some point.
