The first legit indoor meet of the year was today. Comming in I just wanted to run a decent time. Hopefully qualify for All Ohio and if the win came with thats okay too. Felt pretty decent on the warmup. Slight cough this morinig which worried me a bit but nothing major. I was pretty nervous for the race though. Ethan helped a lot though with expirience and stuff. The story of the race was the splits. The first 400 was 71-72. Following that the last 1200 was 3:17 or 3:18 or 66 a lap. Was basically alone for the later three quarters of the race. I feel good that I was able to hold 4:24 pace for three laps. I was really suprised that no one came with me at all. Coach Barnes yelled at me for looking back but I just couldn't believe no one came with me. Good 3 laps. I'll get out harder next time. Didn't feel too bad at the end. My last lab was the fastest but I feel like I' could have droped something faster had there been competation. Did a split up 3 miles after the mile. I thought I was running the 4x4 but in the end I didn't and had a workout instead. Probably 2 hours between the race and the workout. Workout was 5x400 in 65 with 1:30 rest and then 3x200 with 200 jog in 32, 30, 28. Felt okay on the quarters. Felt less comfortable when I was doing these than when I was in the race but thats okay. This definitly shows I got more good stuff in me. Colin did this as well and hung tough which is good for him. Great job! Thanks for being my partner in crime. I missed haveing someone in the race with me though. THat would have been nice.

Splits from workout: 67, 65, 65, 63, 64, 30.13, 29.45, 27.72.
Did Med ball abs with Drew afterwards and Pullups with the MD crew.
Congrats to all the winners toady. Natilia in the mile, Leanne in the 5k, Justine in the 3k to name a few. Everybody ran great especially the 3k guys. I don't know how you run that many laps that fast.
