Comments:
Saw a sick peak in the distance for the first time cuz of the clear sky, had to run after it. Turned around at the top of this big hill, stretching before leaving. Nice stretch after.
OFF tmrw, then lighter week to follow, with the cultural trek and lots of travel time as we are in Bumthang. First time over 30 since January. I should add that I'm getting lots of steps in and playing basketball 3-4 times a week as well. Strength is going well too, I need to stretch more but it's hard to find the time.
Combed through some logs earlier today and I am equally nostalgic for previous iterations of traning, wary of injury and how that can end a season quicker than anything, and excited for the possibility of a real season at some point in the future. I would absolutely love to break 16 in the 5k and 27 in the 8k but I would also understand if this year were not my year. At the end of the day, I just want to keep enjoying running and stay healthy enough to do consistent training.
