My sister gave birth last night, and I heard abt it this morning. The miracle of life propelled me to do this hard effort today rather than tomorrow, so after my fruitful PT appt at Physio DC (where Chris told me I need to work on hip and glute and hamstring strength) I biked back home and got right to it. Half mile warmup, some leg swings, strides, then I was off. Somewhat of a positive split from first q mile to next but I think my last half mile was a good bit faster than first. It was around 2:50/2:40, but I could be wrong. Some stretch and that was it.

Nice end to a nice “season,” with some east weeks coming along just now. I’m thinking this coming week for will be just over 10, then around 20 by end of month.
