Comments:
A pretty true mental health day. I didnt feel like doin shit today. I woke up very very sore especially in calves and quads. Standing around late last night also did a toll on the legs after the good race. I waited until later afternoon to go. It was hot for sure, but not as bad as the heatwave a week ago. Ran down Wasson to Montgomery then back. Finished up with some striders on the track at Withrow because yes legs felt so tight and I really needed to open them up a little bit.
Essentials: Stretch, roll
Got back and really stretched out. Still sore but thats fine its good strength building. Rolling out was nice too haven't done that in a while. Solid recovery run today. Good to get the race in, keep forgetting how fun it is and good it can be. Watching the elite folks in the evening yesterday was also a treat.
