I got up early this morning and made my way to Shelbyville IN to watch regionals. It was a cloudy day, a little breeze. Easy straight drive up there. Got there real early as teams were setting up and just chilled. I needed a day to get away and honestly I couldn't think of a better place to be on a day like today. Saw coach, met some alumni, talked to a few kids and just enjoyed the race. Now after all these years, it still feels so foreign and familiar at the same time. Cant say that about too many other things. But still, coach is there and CWRU is on the front of the jersey. After the race wrapped up, I made my way back, just zoned out on the road. Was so tired I needed a nap and a little quiet time when I got back.
