The entire football team was present during my tempo run. They started an Indian run two laps into my workout so I had to do a bit of dodging. However, this was to my advantage. Passing them made me feel great and resulted in a fast first mile; exactly what I needed to push my tempo pace where I wanted. I felt very good during the entire run. The middle portion of the tempo was tough but I felt controlled and extremely smooth. Splits were: 2:34, 2:37, 2:36, 2:34, 2:35, 2:37, 2:36, 2:36, 2:36, 2:36, 2:35, 2:34, 77.
