Brutal workout. Granted, I was struggling to get out the door and make this happen, so I skipped pre-workout strides, which was silly, but either way...
Prescribed workout for today was 2-1-2-1, with ~90 second rest in between reps. Given conditions, goal was just completion. Route afforded for first rep (2 mi)to be humongous downhill, but terrain was really slippery and kinda grueling, so that kinda made up for it. Second rep was solid, then going got tough, but still finished and that's all I care about. Workouts these next few weeks will be tough as I settle back into speed and the weather is still so harsh.
