Had a hankering for some speedwork, figured it was time to roll out the ol' 8x800 @2:40-2:50 w/ 400 jog. Jogged down to Shell, did a few drills and striders and got right into it. Ended up being .5 for reps and .25 for cooldowns, with extended .5 cooldown halfway. Ended up being that more reps were net downhill than uphill, which is why I threw in the extra 2s at the end. Splits were all over the place but with varying terrain, I was OK with that. Good effort, felt a lot more focused than workout last week. 6-8 tomorrow before flight back home.
