February 10, 2010 (Afternoon)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 20s and blowing snow at dusk
Comments:
After an hour of shoveling I headed down Reno road to my Dad's to shovel for him. Wind was mostly at my back and Reno was freshly plowed to a half inch of well packed (all in all) snow. The four blocks in and out of my Dad's was run in tire tracks... not as brisk. After a quick shovel and romp with Rupert the dog... Returned along Reno into the north wind with snow (picking back up in intensity) in my face. Still, I kept a good 7:00 pace except the uphills where I felt like I was slipping backward on the loose snow with every step. This weather is getting to be a bit much.
