Well it was bound to happen sooner or later. When I got up this morning I had sore feet. Specifically my heels were sore and my calf muscles were sore as well. I think that it was partly the walk/jog program but I think the biggest reason was responding to an alarm yesterday. I decided to take a day off to recover. I have run for 5 days in a row. An essential part of fitness is recovery and listening to your body. I tool it easy today and did not eat much and ate no junk food. I did take Peanut for a 1.2 mile walk. By 7pm today my feet are fine and I feeling like getting on with the program tomorrow morning.
