Comments:
The first run in a new pair of shoes is such an amazing feeling. But when that new pair of shoes are the best shoes you've ever run in that makes it a lot more exciting. I set out to break in my new shoes and I couldn't be happier with the result. I didn't even mean to run up tempo, but after the first slow warmup mile I just had to pick up the pace. It felt good to breeze through a 5k and to finish strong and know that you could've gone harder and gone for another few miles. Maybe this high mileage training is paying off...
