February 17, 2010 (Afternoon)
Exercise Type: Run
Weather: overcast, meh
Comments:
Pretty good tempo today. Jeff ran the warm-up with me, from work, through PRE, around Fairmount and all the way to the Amazon loop. He ran straight back and I stuck around for the 3-mile AT.
Did 4x strides with the "anterior tilt", then went after it. The trail was mushier than usual and there was a bit of a north headwind, but otherwise it was pretty unremarkable. Per usual, it was all about breathing -- and what I noticed was that with an anterior/neutral pelvic tilt, you can BREATHE DEEPLY! Who'd've thunk it??
Relatively quick for wearing trainers:
5:39
5:42
5:39
Sustainable effort, which was nice.
Felt OK on the cooldown, but per usual, working right afterwards was a little rough!
