Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 30 --> 40F, SUNNY!
Comments:
Woke up EARLY -- 0545 -- dicked around a bit (did laundry, ironed, cleaned a bit), did circuits, then headed out for the long run around 0820. I would've gone earlier, but it was "cold" -- sub-30 -- and I didn't want to wear pants and overheat.
BEAUTIFUL DAY. Wow. If 2 days a week it were this sunny, most people would be a lot happier in the winter around here. Legs felt OK -- I kept the pace easy, given yesterday's workout.
The best part about the cold conditions was that it froze up the otherwise mega-sloppy chip trails. PRE was mint, and even Rexius was "runable".
Took TWO deuce stops (thanks to nachos last night), BOTH at the "Cavalry" church on Amazon -- it's pretty much the only "public" building within a mile of that area. Stopped on the way out and again on the way back.
Ridgeline was in pretty good shape, but still a bit sloppy. I wouldn't wanna go up there after a few days' rain. Nonetheless, it was nice to be back up there.
I tried hard to cut corners on this run, because I really didn't want 18 miles but...apparently, I still did. 2:09 total run time.
Pretty good rest of the day: ran a couple errands, chilled out. Wound up going to see "A Serious Man" at Dave Minor. Good but "Coen Weird".
