Exercise Type: Run
Weather: 60, nice
Comments:
Ran the first 8+ with Jeff: felt GOOD. Worked on back extensor mm activation, which apparently is GARBAGE (tried it w/a patient at work this AM) -- this lack of back mm stabilization may be the source of pain/parasthesias in my R side. So I worked on that.
ALSO worked on the pawback and PULL today on the run, and WOW do you get some extra speed and power! Overall I felt really good today by virtue of having rested so much over the week. Put in a couple pace spurts, which felt good.
Jeff was tired today and started to drag ass on the run back on High St; I actually lost him a bit on the bridge, but I bailed by virtue of adding on. Went into PRE trails for an extra loop, then back.
PM: R calf sore, but nothing nasty on the run. Iced after work.
Went out with the new student for a "welcome beverage". He's a pretty cool guy.
