Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Morning run. TOok it easy. West on the NBT. Feeling just a little sore but totally optimistic. Great to run on the grass. I run on a bike path that has grassy shoulders next to an abandoned railway line. It is perfectly straight and almost perfectly flat. It stretches out about 4 or 5 miles in either direction from where I get on it. I love looking up and down the thin strip of asphalt and seeing where I am going laid out neatly in front of me, like I am running down some 10 mile long ticker tape that ends precisely when I am finished. It is a bit like the Lancelot legends, having to cross the stream or crevice by laying his sword across it and then tramping over on its razor thin edge.
