Nationals! freshman mile

Comments:
my race was at 20:15 and mia's was at 9:20, so we left from where we were staying at about 7:10 and got there at about 8. i warmed up on the track, and then stretched, did speed d, and then sat, watched her race, then warmed up again and the race started. i was seeded last (14) of the slowest heat, but i knew i could do better. i was actually hoping to come in the top three of the heat and get under 4:50. the race started, and i went out in the lead and had my 15 second of fame! then i got back into about 4, then 5, then 6, then i started kicking a littl and ended in 3rd with a time of 4:55.29. it was not exactly what i wanted but i was fairly happy with it, especially cause i beat cody :). i had to much left in the end that i could have used elswhere though.then i went on a cooldown with shaun from elmira.
