Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
After 50m I was completely alone. Won by over two minutes, set a course record.
Really tough course. Guy in second said he normally runs 17:30s so it was a testament to how slow the course was.
First mile was the only section that had any downhill. Second mile was a slowly rising uphill, and the final 1.1 miles was brutal. It started flat, but then became a slow rising uphill. Last quarter to half mile of the race was up a major hill, starting out with making turns going uphill through streets, then a long unbearable straight.

Felt really good and relaxed the whole way, only part that I felt dead for was the final hill. Had that been flat I would have been 15:30s. Competition and course definitely hindered me from 15:20s today but that run as a solo effort was still very satisfactory on the course.
Also nice that this was my easiest analysis of a race that I can remember. All the mileage really helped today and everything just felt at one constant speed, and there was never a point that I was fighting, dying, struggling, pushing etc.
