half plus a little warm-up

breezy hilly day. freaking pumped at the beginning. Rode out my stride at the beginning.. kept it steady til mile 10, then at the top of the burly hill at 11 realized I was on pace for an excellent time and cranked out the end. Ended hauling up the hill and feeling strong. good days all around. Ran with Ironman guy and Red.. sadly never got their names, but we used mutual suffering to get up those hills.
Got to cheer in Aric Jan Muice at the finish! Then off to Pike Place for... unusually strong beer, thai food, and piroskis.
