Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
So, for the second half of my run, I decided to just sort of go whatever pace felt natural rather than trying to monitor and go faster than I felt like going (which is what I've been doing, pushing myself to go 10 min/mile pace for the middle part of my run!)
Welllll, I stopped looking at the numbers, and just increased pace to where it felt natural, and ended up doing that mile in about 9 minutes! Which is a total surprise for me, because the pace that I had been deliberately trying to work up to was 10 min/mile! So I was going faster than I realized I could. Next time, I will know to go off of how I feel rather than how I think I can do, because I've clearly been underestimating myself.
