Weather: nearly 70, sunny!!!
Comments:
Ran an easy VRC with Jeff - 6:40 to 6:50, then did a little West PRE loop add-on pre-tempo run. Felt tired, but my calf was pretty fine.
4x strides in the parking lot beforehand. SIDE-NOTE: it's interesting, the MORE I use my gluts and hams to "pull" the MORE knee extension I have in initial contact/stance, and the LESS quad soreness I have (e.g. flexed quads = overworked/trashed quads).
Focused on that on this tempo, a SHIRTLESS tempo! Did 3.5 of the PRE loop. Felt pretty strong and fast but it didn't quite turn out that way. Kept the breathing well controlled. And interestingly, the MORE I focused on glut/ham pull, the EASIER the breathing effort seemed...

Jogged back to work, felt tired but OK. VERY NICE OUT.
Was gonna run again after work but I was pretty exhausted. I'll take 11...
