Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
Perfect day for a track workout. 65, sunny and no wind. Felt pretty good on the warmup. My R leg numbness was on an upswing today, but that doesn't seem to mean anything on how tomorrow will be.

This will be the last really hard workout for the year as all of my races occur within the next 3 weeks.

1600M @ 5K pace (3:00 rest)
2x800M @ 3K pace (2:00 rest)
3x400M @ 1500M pace (1:15 rest)
4x200M @ 800M pace (30s rest)
2.5 WD

Mile felt effortless, seriously. I ran it a bit slow, but I was very apprehensive about jumping the gun on this workout and having a lot of inconsistent intervals later on that would suck. Same goes for the 800s, felt easy, but they were slower than I wanted. I easily could have gone faster, but I did not want to tax myself that much. Probably for the best that I ran based on feel and not time. The 400s are when I started to feel it. The first two were okay and the last one was tough. I had a good amount of rest though on these. Any more and I think I would have been too rested and any less I would have been falling apart. The 200s were essentially there for some anaerobic work, think 30/30s. God i hate those, tried to keep my form tight on them but it was breaking down towards the end. I was happy with the workout overall. Legs still feel heavy and sluggish though, annoying.
