Today I wanted to see what I could do 1 mile in and to hopefully be able to use it a as a measuring stick on my progress. It went very well and I ran my fastest mile in years! Of course I walked 1/2 mile there and back for 2.1 miles total. Another reason I did this was because I had a day of rest and if I need on I can take it without effecting my training program since I already have met my goal of 4 workouts this week.
