we got there, and it was a very odd place. many weird things happened, but ill get to that later. i warmed up for my race a little too early. and i went on the field to do speed d. jenn and i couldnt stop laughing at how weird the place was. then after everything, my heat, the last heat, was up. i started out pretty badly, i got boxed in. i was in the outside lanes, seated fifth. i went pretty well through the first lap, but on the second lap, my legs just couldnt move faster, and i felt slow. i finished in i think like 9th with a time of 2:11. then i did a cooldown with jenn, christine, john, and nichole. ok so this is why the day was weird. as soon as we got there, noah dropped his shorts in a yearnal, and alex barton and i couldve sworn they were wet, but when he picked them up like 3 minutes later after throwing them on the ground, it was as if nothing happened to them. then the whole place just looked funny. it was a rug field and the announcer guy said "stay in your lane. go back to the timer in the lane you raced in" about 10000000 times. and afro man was there, and there was a guy who was running with his head extremely far down that beat me in the 800. and then there was a guy with tape on his nose who started staring at me and muttering things. and then we went on the cooldown and accidentally went through the drive through of the ice cream store we stopped at. there was a 2nd grader in charge of the store. and then this old guy in a white car tried to run us over. then the tape nosed guy came back and that was freaky. and thats about it but it was really just freaky stuff. then i did rolling 200s with alex barton.
