pool workout

my heel has been bothering me, so cartwight didnt have me do the workour today, which was a good call cause it was hard to walk in school without limping, and now it feels a little better. i did a warmup, then aqua jogged for intervals of hard/easy. i did 5 min easy, 1 min hard, 1 easy, 2 hard, 1 easy, 3,1,2,1,1,1 and then 5 easy. then i did the normal pool workout. when i got home, i took an ice bath and then did 8* (1 min abs, 5 feet-on-chair pushups, and 5 reps of 25 lb weights.) I liked that combination and it was definately a workout. i really want to do well on thursday, and i have my mind set on under 4:40 in the 1600. i found heel pads earlier today that i had in xc season, and i hope those will help my heel. other than what i have done today, all i can do is get pumped for the mile.
