Comments:
my achilles were tight early in the week. i woke up yesterday morning and could barely walk it hurt so much (and my heel hurt too). it loosened up during the day. felt it a bit this morning, decided to try to run a few miles. didn't work well. typically when they're tight it goes away after 20 min. and a few stops to stretch. i could tell it was different when i went to run today. i'll be icing non stop and wearing my goofy compression socks and doing calf raises. i'm not going to run again until tuesday. if i feel anything i'm shutting it down for another week. it's the end of may, and i have no reason to push this. i've known too many people who have let this go and ended up out for a season or more.
