Warmup

4:20.

It was short, only from Grumbacher to Reservoir Hill. Coach didn't want us out too long because it was cold and raining.

The Workout

6xfull hills

Felt pretty good, didn't look at my watch, just kind of ran them. Didn't go balls to the walls crazy, just wanted to make sure I stayed consistent through the hill and through all 6 intervals. Pretty surprised by my splits now looking back at them given what I think I did it in a few weeks ago, guess I'm getting stronger but need to go look back at old splits.

Cool Down w/ the team

Did it slow at about 7:00 pace which was surprising I was able to hold again. Ran with the team until they turned into the school, then I added on another 10 minutes. Stopped inside for a minute, got my things and talked to coach, then jogged home.

Add another 800m on. Once I got back home I just dropped off my stuff, tied my key to my shoe and headed out to throw in a couple more miles for the day.

Extension Run

City Loop cut short by heading straight in through Springettsbury.

4.78 miles in 31:23. Pretty good pace considering everything and weather conditions.

Probably should throw in my shoes have literally been falling apart, within the past 50 miles they went from still being sturdy to beyond shot. Was going to use new shoes today but didn't want to break shoes in, in the rain.

Everything totaled up .6 + 2.1 + 2.0 + .5 + 4.8
