Woke up OK this AM, but TIRED AS HELL running. I sort of knew this was coming, because I've been a bit worn down all week: 200s Tuesday, tempo Wed, 2-a-days all week...
Wasn't sure on the plan, so today I went for a K-800-600-400-200 at "V02Max" -- so..."pretty hard".
Did 3 warm-up, strides, then went after it. The K felt pretty good, but the 800 was tiring, and the 6 was EXHAUSTING! The legs felt OK, but I was just WIPED OUT. Pulled the plug after that.
I'm not too bummed -- I just gotta give my legs/body time to come around from the harder training AND give my body time to absorb that Vit D.
Off to Maiden Peak tonight, hopefully. Gotta save some energy for that hike and hopefully a PCT run tomorrow.
