Baltimore Ten Miler

Well, I got after it and hung with the leaders through the first 1.5 miles or so. 1 mile was in the 5:30s I think. 2 guys started to pull away soon after that. Thought I might be able to reel them in, but not today. 4 mile was 23:49 and I knew already I was running much slower than last year. Got passed again going around the lake and came through 5 in 30:08. Tried to push it on the way back on 33rd street but just didn't have it today. Winner's time was 59:39. Kind of disappointing considering I feel like I should have won by over 3 minutes, but I guess I'll look at today as a good workout. Had a pretty good cool down though running with a nice woman who also ran the race and won with a course record(she has a PR of like 59 minutes), but said she had a rough day also. Back to the grind....
