Exercise Type: Run

Weather: sunny, humid and hot. low 80's

Comments:
did a 5k time trial at about 80% effort/ around 10 race pace. felt a little sluggish goin into but once i picked it up i felt fine. kinda struggled, probly because of the heat, humidity and the fact i did a long run about 15 hours ago. didn't even try the GU. but all in all a good workout. hip didn't bother me, legs didn't feel wore down. maybe on a good day i could hold that for a 10k, i don't know. i do know it was hard to keep the pace the last half mile. i really want to do the 10k but not for sure if if could hold a 5:45 pace. i will not run it if i have to run slower than that. question is do i have a better shot at getting into the 16:30-16:50 5k range saturday or holding 5:45 pace for 10k? I'll probly make the decision wednesday. but what it's worth the workout held its purpose today.
