had my deep tissue massage from jon today, it was intense and yet i was able to bear it!  im used to pain like that from xc and everything and i was suprised that it wasnt actually too tickilish.  a very good eperience, although it left me a bit sore afterwards.  for practice with the guys today we did a pretty good one, out into the woods for about a 3.5 mile warmup, then 2 sets of 4 hills (arena to upper sign and around the whole areana "cooldown"), with a set of 3 gauntlets on the upper felds between the hills and one after the hills.  and then our cooldown was a short loop in the woods that turned into a quite fast mile on the way back for im not sure what reason.  it felt good either way.  i had some serious gass issues during the first set of hills and gauntlets, had to miss the first 2 hills of the second set while i shat my brains out, but i made them up after we were all done, i felt obliged to myself to do them.  they felt amazingly good after i was done crapping, especially the strangely fast mile home.  didnt time the 6 gauntlets or 2 of the 8 hills, but ill just guesstimate the mileage around 8 cause i dont rly have any way of knowing for sure
