FIRST RUN

Comments:
After the good results with walking yesterday, I decided I'd try running. And getting back to cross-training, since it no longer hurt to walk, go up/down stairs, or bike.

Biked 30min, then went upstairs and walked a half mile on the track to be sure it wasn't tweaking.

Then I ran. It felt AWESOME to run again -- to cover ground -- even though it was indoors.

The heel was OK, but not 100%. I felt overall tightness, but it was tough to say whether or not it was due to the heel sleeve or not. Did 8 laps (which is over a mile) in 9:00, then called it. All I wanted was that one mile, then we'll see how it feels afterwards, and the next day.

Did my circuits and was pleasantly surprised to see I weighed in at 157 today. Pretty nutty that, even though I'm eating more and haven't been running in 3+ weeks, I continue to lose weight. Awesome.

US'd, then ate at Whitney with Breitbach, Yoshi, LoLo and Heitz. Good times. Terrible food, per usual.
