Exercise Type: Run

Comments:
GOOD DAY today. First off, I actually got a lot done studying, covering all my upper extremity notes AND going over lab stuff. Barely studied this, but I feel I could get A- grades in it if I studied no more between now and Tuesday.

At 4ish I wrapped it up, US'd, then went to the REC. Did 30min on the ex bike, then upstairs to try running. Wore the heel sleeve this time.

Felt GREAT today. Wow! On the TRAN Athletic Injury Scale, it felt like a 0/5 for half the run -- in other words, I nearly forgot it was even there. Got up to maybe a 1 ("awareness"), but that was it. I was thinking I shouldn't even run today, but I wound up doing 2 miles at a fairly respectable pace.

There was a bball tourney going on today, with teams from around the region. Whilst running above the courts, I spied none other than John Statzkowsk, aka "Hot #12". Good to see him still "ballin'".

Circuits. Weigh in at 157.1. Nice. FYI: I only have one weight entry from my 2002 log, which I've been looking at lately since it was the last time (A) I felt truly this strong running and (B) the last time I hurt my achilles. The weight said "156-160" in May of 2002. It'll be interesting to see what we're down to after a good long run, since I was 158 after my last good 14er a month ago...
