Exercise Type: Run
Comments:
Yesterday I ran the mile in PE with Meghan. And we were taking it easy but we still wanted to finish before everyone in class since we're supposed to be the good ones in P.E. So when this one girl was trying to keep up with us we got really competitive and ended up working a little bit harder than we wanted. We got 7:21 which is a PR for me running a timed mile. But at meets where there's a little mile clock for the each mile I remember getting 7:01 once last season. But when I finished I wasn't tired, until I tried to walk up stairs haha.
When practice started my legs felt really tired but it was fun anyways. I like running when there's no pressure. Meghan and I used to go on runs during off-season. Really long ones. For over an hour. (I used to have a watch but something's wrong with it now) And we just jogged around Meridian until we decided to go home. It was so fun. But anyways I felt good yesterday when it came to endurance and energy, but my legs just really throbbed. I don't really mind that though it's kind of a good feeling. Because that means they're working, right?
I can't decide what to do. Because I want to get better this year. So I can do really good next year and better this season. But I have trouble waking up. And sometimes I have to stay up late to finish my homework because I'm taking 4 honors classes. BUT this would probably really help me if I went. And it's only 2 times a week. I handled waking up early for driver's ed last year once a week..but I practically turned into a zombie for the rest of the day.
I think it's a really cool opportunity. I'm going to think more about it this weekend and tell you Monday.
